Perfect, products of only 3 automakers:
Toyota Motors (Toyota and Lexus)
Ford Mo Co (Ford and Mercury)
Honda Motors (Honda)

Where are the others!?!

Where are GM with big words about saving the nature or Hummers and GMC's products could not be nature friendly!?!
Of course NOT! That's why soon very soon Toyota will hit the 1st position, Honda will follow it and GM is gonna slowly but surely die!

OF COURSE the Insight is in 10th! I'm pretty sure there are only ten hybrids on sale today:

RX400h
GS450h
Prius
Highlander Hybrid
Civic Hybrid
Accord Hybrid
Escape Hybrid
Mariner Hybrid
Camry Hybrid
---- ------

I don't know the last one.

There's an Ion Green Line? I thought they only made a Red Line version for that. I also forgot the Silverado Hybrid. Never seen one, probably never will.

Speaking of my name, I was in my S4 today and I saw four other S4s on my way to pick up a take-out order: a yellow B6 sedan on the highway, a grey B7 sedan, a silver B6 Avant and a blue B5 sedan. All were very cool, but of course, mine's the coolest. See the picture up closer by clicking on my name.

toyota wins with the most models avail hands down with over 85,000 sold. thats almost 66,000 more than honda. i think if toyota keeps this up, and does well in the us truck market they should have no prob becoming #1. i dont buy gm's now tho so i dont feel thats any reason to chose their car over another one you like.

oh i also forgot to say, the downside to so many toyota hybrids out there now, is that they will lose resale value faster than hondas.

The Insight is down to about a 100 copies a month in sales, but it had a heck of a head start, hence the number 2 ranking. Even Honda is giving up the hybrid and moving to other sources (diesel for one, fuel cell for two).

Toyota has done a sterling job of marketing. They were one upped by Honda with the Hybrid in the US intially. Only to have marketed it so much better to achieve total dominance in the that arena. When I think of Hybrid, Toyota is the first brand I think of.

Reminds me of the BETA vs VHS wars of the 80's. BETA the technically superior format, but VHS dominates due to better marketing. Superior design does not always mean you will win.
