This maybe one of my next vehicles! I liked the current Fit enough to go test drive one and get a trade quote. I couldn't let go of my Civic for the money they offered me, so I got a GLI.

in this segment, looks don't matter. its all function over form. I mean, look at the aveo5. its certainly not pretty but then again this isn't the intended purpose of this segment.

I kind of disagree.. If the mission of creating a new econo-box is achieved - yet there's "that something" about it in the design and quality that resonates, it'll go beyond just another tin can on wheels with great mileage. People will actually want to buy one instead of settling for one. That'll be a home run for Honda and it'll be because of the design, not just the mileage stats and the price tag.

Like damikco, I prefer the Cobalt too. But I get what where the author is coming from here.

The current Fit has been a huge success because of the great packaging - and of course the whole reliability, efficiency, cuteness, and being a Honda thing going for it...
