If you have had the chance to scope out the all-new, 2014 Toyota Corolla probably the first thing you'll notice is its much more spiffed up look. Considering the Corolla has — frankly — never looked attractive, this is a huge development.
And while the stock car looks good, in my eyes, the "S" model looks really presentable. While past Corolla's looked more reserved for your grandmother, the new car looks like something I'd expect out of Kia or Toyota's other marque, Scion. It has a nice, hip look to it.
Here's the thing though: Toyota's more conservative models have always done blockbuster numbers. Is it taking a BIG risk by making a more edgy product?
The reason I ask this is because of, you guessed it, the Dodge Dart.
It's one of the best looking vehicles in its class and has a great sounding motor. It could be a bit faster but so could they all. And that vehicle is REALLY lagging behind the competition when it comes to sales.
What say you, Spies? Will the Corolla suffer the SAME fate as the Dodge Dart OR will it be a runaway success?
