Agree. Too bad my wife wants a small SUV and hates station wagons. A supercharged AWD station wagon TDI is about as close to perfection as I can imagine. Only the 500 h.p. Q7 V-12 TDI will be better.

1) the article is full of mistakes
2) this upgrade has been around for a couple of years now.

They chip the standard A6 3.0 TDI to about 275 hp and 550 +/- nm. Topspeed is around 260 and 0-100 in about 6.5 seconds. So the 300 hp model with a bigger turbo should be even faster.

In other words this article is complete rubbish.

A6 Avant is the most elegant, sophisticated wagon on the market. Take it or leave it.

I'm sorry did I just hear that this is a 100hp per liter...DIESEL!!! And it dosen't belong to the Audi racing team.

Gee, I thought that only gas powered engines could produce that magic number. Way to go ABT.

Oh and the 600NM of tq is nice too. I wonder what gas miliage is now?
