The Best of Paris - Agent 00J Picks His Favorites, But Is Your Favorite On The List?
Paris turned in a lot of surprises this year.  The manufacturers spared no expense in bringing their latest greatest offerings to the rotating tables of Paris in an effort to excite the minds of people everywhere.

Opinions of course varied, but here are some of the highlights from Paris, a virtual best of the best.

Agent 001 has done a tremendous job of documenting the happenings in Paris, and this list is no exception to the work he has done to bring the best coverage to you.

The Audi A1 is a great looking car that would sell extremely well in the US market.  Equipped with a typically high quality Audi interior, this small car will expose even more customers to the Audi way of life.

My personal favorite is this sedan from Peugeot.  If ever an argument can be made for bringing French cars to the USA, this sedan should lead the charge as proof of a product line which would sell in droves.

The new BMW 7-series is beautiful.  I can't wait to get a chance to drive this new sedan from BMW, and if it looks even half as good in person as in pictures, BMW has a tremendous hit on their hands.

Alfa Romeo has made it clear that the USA is their next market, and the MiTo is scheduled to arrive here shortly.  This car has the potential to expose a whole lot of people to Italian cars making converts in the process.

The Lamborghini Estoque should win best in show, period.  This sedan rocked the super sedan world, and is poised to take a big chunk out of Panamera and Rapide sales.

These are my handpicked selections of cars I would consider to be best in show.

What cars would make your list of the best of the best of Paris?  Go ahead, share your insights with us.  The car gods are smiling upon us, lets just hope some of these concepts make it to production.

Don't miss out on these new galleries as well...

UMMMMM!!!! What the F. is going on here. You are praising the A1 in this article as one of your favorite cars from the show but in your last article (which is now removed) you had it as one of the top five ugly cars at the show.

Am I missing something because this is just stupid.

Here is the article I am talking about:

http://www.autospies.com/news/Lipstick-On-A-Pig-Won-t-Help-These-Duds-From-Paris-Top-5-Ugly-Cars-35636/

And by the way, that picture is not even the A1. Do you even know what you are talking about?

I posted the previous article and made a mistake. First off I had only looked at 1 or 2 pictures of the Audi, got distracted and never went back prior to posting the story. After the story which you linked to posted, I was looking through the galleries, and realized that with the exception of the headlights, it really is a nice looking car. Hence I removed the story, and wrote a second one with my favorites from the show.

The picture above is an A3. I am well aware of that, however if I were to edit the story and change the picture, all comments made will be lost, and that is not fair to you who have commented. I left right after posting the story, and really didn't proof read as well as I should have.

I made a mistake when running the links in this story, it should have been an A1 picture above.

Sorry if I created some confusion.

I appreciate your honesty and the correction you made, but with a website like this I expected the writers to be more professional and do more research before they just post something.

Autospies is losing all credibility, and let me tell you this isn't the first we had wrong pictures posted. In fact we have had terrible spelling, wrong information, awfully biased posts, and many more things happen on this site that you will never see on any other professional website.

I suggest you guys go back and think some of these things over.

Does anyone else think Agent 00K was the biggest joke of all time?

She never posted a single article, at least that I can remember.

What did she bring to this site? Seriously.

I appreciate your comment, sometimes in the haste to get things published, mistakes are made.

In this case I admit I messed up with the pic, I copied the wrong link.

We strive to be perfect, but at the end of the day sadly we are still human.

It was a simple mis-communication between myself and 00J.

Net service sucks in Europe...at least in hotels and at press rooms.

Cut us some slack here guys...we're trying to bring you the inside scoop the FASTEST and with the best photos which take a lot of prep and time to post.

Why complain about a stupid mispelling...REJOICE and be thankful that you are looking at awesome shots and getting great insight here before ANY other website.

Sure you can go look at crappy photos taken with awful cameras and with no knowledge of perspective, etc. elsewhere...but WHY?

Driving the new 3-Series diesel today to Italy...gotta run!

More pics coming as I shoot them and can get to a web connection!

And regarding 00K...she has some things going on in her life and our thoughts and prayers are with her.

We wish her the best because she is an awesome person.

Chip... You couldn't be more wrong... She once posted an article about her E39 which she had had an accident in, afterwards she thought the brakes were a bit funny but instead of taking it to a garage, she went and had another accident... What an automotive journalist!

What it is is total lack of professionalism and any form of continuity... one second he (or she?!) is saying one thing and the next the exact opposite... And yes, that is an A3

maybe i am the only one who thinks Lamborghini Estoque doesn't have the typical Lamborghini style. I really dislike the look of the car. not to say it sucks or anything (since i am not one of their target customers), but i just don't have the passion for that car.

I absolutely agree with you...This style does nothing for me and most people here are praising it just cuz it's a lambo.

I agree with ghosthunter on the Lambo, it is seriously odd looking. I think the Rapide will put it to shame when final production versions are on the road and put side by side.

The A3 outsells the 1 Series by a large margin and often beats it in comparison tests.

A1 is to compete with the Mini, a BMW brand. The Mini is also a.....wait for it.....FWD car.

why is he still here? Honestly, unless it is a BMW or MB article, he posts negative posts EVERY TIME, and it is the same crap, "I'm richer, and more educated than you, Audi/VW's are crappy, FWD POS", which sounds just like another poster here (cough, cough...Star).

I know, I know..."just ignore them", which would be fine but they bait everyone into senseless arguments that only clog up this site, making a 10 comment post into a 100 one.

I have come to this site long before I was a member and I have to say, maybe the people in charge should look at their quality before pushing quantity. I know mistakes are made, but not a week goes by that there aren't double posts, triple posts, spelling corrections in the 3rd version of the post, and then the next week someone decides to break a story that came out 2 weeks prior.

Something is wrong when veteran members are leaving or complaining so heartily.

As for the cars, the peugeot is an absolute stunner.

BTW, I am appreciative of the work with the auto shows, I'm only trying to kindly ask for some mindfulness when it comes to posting because this site is at risk of losing loyal patrons by the car load.

I commented on another article regarding the Peugeot sedan concept and I agree with the inclusion of it here as a superior design in a very competitive setting. I thought the Rapide is a beautiful sedan (sorry but I disagree on the Lamborghini sedan, the design doesn't do anything for me, ) but the Peugeot takes the prize. If the actual car carries through 85% of the proportion, it would be the best looking sedan on the street in my humble opinion. I really like the short overhang on both ends, a true 2 row interior, electric-driven rear wheels, and unique proportions.
