The King of Cars...have you seen it yet?

I have not had a chance to see it but many car dealers have complained to us that it's not helping the sleazy stigma go away, that many people have of car dealers in general.

We would love it if people who have seen it would post their commentary and give us the 411 of their opinions of the show...

You mean all car dealers aren’t sleezy? LOL. Yeah I would say it does appear to be the do anything you have to do to sell a car sllezy type of show. I've seen his commercials too and can’t stand his, over the top/thuggish/pimpish type of way he acts to sells cars. Talking all fast and trying to act all “cool.” It is so totally annoying! Seems like he is targeting the more drug dealer/pimpish/shady kind of people crowd. However, on the other hand they are just dodge’s so they never really had a great image to begin with. His commercials only emphasize the stereotypes associated with the people who are attracted to those vehicles, you know the "pimped out" 300's and Magnum's.

I hate to admit it but I actually enjoy watching this show in a sick way. Chop rules! In all seriousness, I would never buy a car there and it probably does but dealers in a bad light, but I think people know all dealers aren't quite like this.

Whats the deal with Chop? Obviously he has an ego that only his fat head can contain. Thinkin he is some kind of rap star when he is a glorified used car dealer. That goes for the mentally deficient Blue Genie..lol. I happened to come across the first episode and it has its appeal, but can't see it lasting. Apparently the show has been going on locally for several years and it is part of the marketing gimmick..."buy a car here and be on TV!!!" In many ways that is smart and Chop does have that cult like appeal. I will give it a chance, a small one.

It's a good show. I used to sell cars 10+ years ago, and this is exactly how it was, aside from the gimmicks they have.

It gives a really good impression of what selling cars is really like for the salesperson.

I don't like the Chop's thug image, but I have to admire anyone who OWNS a car dealership at his age, much less one that size.

BMW dealers are the best. They have the best service and are very attractive.

It was okay the first few times that I saw it, but now it's just nothing but..."we're low on numbers, got ta git them numbas up". Over and over again.

I give it the rest of the season and then it's gone. Plus, most of the time they are selling used cars.

I think it's funny. Typical "low-line" dealership, just in a really extravagant way.

I am twice as old as the King, so I recognize this as a new version of the same old sales game. They make no bones about financing being what they are really selling. Nearly every vignette is about getting the payment right. And even though snobby dealers try to hide the sleaze, it's still a numbers game. That being said, I LOVE the show. And, by the way, if it works well enough to get a TV show, it must be working well, don't you think?

I'd rather have a root canal than watch this idiotic show. Chop is a fat wannabe who should buy Unique Whips so he can keep it real YO! I hate dealing with dealerships so why would I want to watch a show based on one?
And what's with the Blue Genie? Stupid gimmick crap like that just proves what a trashy guy Chop really is.
I pray it gets cancelled and replaced with a live fish tank. That would be more entertaining
