The Porsche 911 Turbo Cabrio is one wicked machine. SpeedART, the German tuner, thinks it could and should be badder.
So the company created the BTR-XL 600, shorthand for Bi-Turbo Racer — Extra Large with 600 Horsepower.

With upgraded VGT turbochargers and other engine mods, SpeedART squeezes 600 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque from the Porsche flat-six. That's good enough to propel this open-air rocket from rest to 60 mph in less than 3.4 seconds. Velocity peaks at 202 mph.

Rubbish

Just makes it look like a Fast & Furious Vehicle.

All it needs now are Neon Tubes underneath.

I'm always impressed how many times the after-industry can reinvent tacky.

For those who find the "regular" 911 turbo convertible to be not expensive enough.

I won't criticize their effort but I will comment .

1) Beyond the modifications , the basic car is a convertible which right out of the gate pits it as a disadvantage to a coupe .

2) One can attain a more understated yet functiional aerodynamic design with the Techart type 1.

3) The 20 in wheels may look pretty for the street but again are not for the track.

4) I'm not thilled about white wheel centers and "Speedart" on the sides . If the car is that great people will ask.

5) One can crank 600 HP out of the car without replacing the Turbo's and there are already 700HP Turbo upgrades coming soon to this car .

Conclusion --it's a nice car , but personalizing a 997tt with modifications requires more study than simply having the money to buy a brand name without researching all of the possibilitites.
