It sure is easy to pick the bad cars or trucks, they are the obvious ones in the market.

But what about the BEST or MOST SIGNIFICANT car or truck introduced in 2008.

No, I am not talking car of the year or any of that, but rather just a list of cars and/or trucks that came to market strong in 2008 ready and willing to capture the hearts and wallets of Americans.

Although several of you listed the BMW X6 on the "worst" list, I would say this SUV SAV came to market strong with reported shortages as the entire model year lineup was reported as SOLD OUT by BMW shortly after launch.  Love it or hate it, the X6 certainly made an impression in the marketplace.

Of course the Nissan GT-R deserves to be on the list as well, often times commanding astronomical markups above the listed price on the window sticker.  News of failed transmissions not being covered by warranty did little to cloud this super car, and for the price the GT-R has to rank as one of the most significant cars of 2008.

How about the Lexus IS-f.  Talk about a new arena for Lexus to dabble in.  This car certainly made waves, and even if it isn't beating the venerable M3 at its own game, it certainly is a valiant first effort from Lexus.

But what about you, what car or truck do you think is the most significant for 2008?
