Or a great place to die, because you'll certainly fall asleep at the wheel driving one of these boats.

I hate when you compare the LS with the BMW5&7. How easily you forget that the wrap around tail light was first seen in the old ES...If anybody is copying it is BMW..

MDalle, the Bangle-butt actually comes from BMW designer Chris Bangle for those that didn't know that.

Here is another article on Lexus.

If you are new to autospies, this is the place to make stupid comments dissing the Lexus brand.

Carry on.

I think the LS460 is a great car, but I'm not sure if I was spending that much money if I would get this or the Mercedes E550 fully loaded.

Your best bet would be with the Lexus, not the Mercedes.

lexusis350, sell me on why I should buy a Lexus LS 460 over a Mercedes S550.

That's because President Bush is the best thing for our country. If John Kerry got in, we would all be bitches for the Iraqis.

lexusis350-
"Your best bet would be with the Lexus, not the Mercedes."

You're right to an extent. While I like Mercedes, I would choose the LS 460, not because it's the better car, but because it fits my style better. The S-Class is a very nice car in fact, but I think it depends on your personality which car you will favor over another one.

i'm not going to get into politics but "President Bush is the best thing for our country".
since when was a monkey the best thing for america? look at the mess he got you in with iraq! and why would you be iraq's bitch?
btw my friend's uncle is the PM of iraq. i've got connections!

Hey Rupert, why don't you go kiss your queen's feet and leave us Americans alone. You don't live here so you don't have any place to say anything about President Bush. And the Iraqi's would take us over if we didn't go and stop them first. Look at the progress we've done: Saadam Hussein isn't the leader anymore, they're getting closer and closer to having a free country, we found out there were not weapons of mass destruction. My brother in-law was in Iraq and he said if you knew how grateful those people were, it wouldn't be a news story. The news wants horrors stories, not positive stories.

Let me guess, the people you know in Iraq were in the Army for educational support and then got drafted. The people who hate the president and don't see a need for this war who are in the Army were the people who were in it for the money, not the satisfaction of protecting the greatest country in the world.

" And the Iraqi's would take us over if we didn't go and stop them first"
yes, with those imaginary weapons and long range bombers and iraqs secret massive army.
"Look at the progress we've done: Saadam Hussein isn't the leader anymore, they're getting closer and closer to having a free country, we found out there were not weapons of mass destruction."
saddam isn't the leader anymore. great. that's the only really good thing, why doesn't america invade zimbabwe?
closer to having a free country? they're on the brink of civil war. and what right is it of america to go invading a country to "free" it?
and the WMDs? THERE NEVER WERE ANY!
and how does invading iraq protect america in any way AT ALL? Please, answer me that!
and i have every reason to hate bush for dragging my country into the war and being a complete idiot! there was no need at all for the iraq war, apart from one thing. OIL.
my friends dad was sent to iraq, was there for nearly a year. he wasn't in the army, he's part of british intelligence services, and was stuck there and had to see his friends get blown up to satisfy mr bush's thirst for oil and war!

You're Prime Minister decided to go into war with us, he could have said no. President Bush is in no way to blame for England to be in Iraq so shove it! You have no way to talk crap about our president if you don't live in this country.

RupertRupert - 12/12/2006 6:17:54 PMView My AgentSpace
-2 BoostDrop the Boost Up the Boost
why do i have no right to do that?
Bush sucks. he's stupid, ignorant, and is clearly not the best man for the job. just because daddy was president and someone rigged the ballot so that despite the fact that al gore got MORE votes than him, bush wins, means he gets in and is free to ruin america as he wishes.
and you still haven't answered my question "how does invading iraq protect america in any way AT ALL?". you've used it as a reason for invasion several times.

RupertRupert - 12/12/2006 6:39:22 PMView My AgentSpace

one big contradiciton; you want to save america from iraq invading (with the imaginary army) and taking away your liberty, right? yet "You have no way to talk crap about our president if you don't live in this country." i'm guessing you mean "no right", but still....freedom of speech anyone? i can say anything i like about bush, or any president. i can call OJ a murderer, courtney love a floozy, and usually, if i put the word "allegedly" in front of it, i can say almost anything. so don't tell me what i can and can't say, and sit there happy clicking the deboost button till your finger turns blue.
allegedly, lexusis350 is stupid and incompetent, allegedly not unlike his idol mr bush who allegedly has been the worst thing for america since communism and cheap japanese cars. in my opinion (that is something no-one can take away) Mr Bush and Lexusis350 are complete idiots.

Ivading Iraq has protected my country because we now know that Iraq isn't a big threat anymore. And by the way, YOU have no right. Last time I recalled, you were being ruled by a queen. I have a right, you don't. Anyway, you don't know what President Bush has done for the United States, you don't live here and have probably never been here. And just to bring you up to date, Japanese cars aren't cheap here. They are, in fact, one of the nicest vehicles in my country. So once again, butt out of American affairs because you have no clue. I'm done talking to you now.

Iraq was NEVER a big threat....the 45 minute missile thing was wrong. find me an article or any information that says Iraq was a threat. and my country is not ruled by a queen, it is ruled by Prime Minister. and cheap japanese cars destroyed GM and Ford, ever heard of Toyota? I was trying to compliment them for being so effective...

Think about all posts for Lexus LS460 and LS600 together. They are so much and 99% of them are positive! That's the biggest advertisement for Lexus. After all this I'm wondering "How MB still sells S-class at all" Dont' speek about 7er of BMW and A8 of Audi

The only thing i can tell u Autoegr525 is that the LS is limited at 260Kmh in the gulf and still is as silent as ever (much heavier than the 2002 S500 on high speeds)

Note to Lexus Engineering...
You can't go fast unless you can slow down. Lexus brakes are known to be terrible (and not just due to the flawed electro-hydraulic system that they copied from Mercedes which Mercedes later dumped).

The stopping distances for the LS460L in the latest Car & Driver comparison test were downright embarassing (and about as long as for a Chevy Suburban). The pedal feel in the GS450 is known to be non-existent too.

If you want to run with the big boys, you have to be able to stop with them too...across the board. BMW, Audi, and MB all have excellent all-around brake performance across their lines, not just on their 'performance' models AMG, M, etc.

Pls give the consumer better brakes.
