Nice, but not for that price.

Also, do those Neiman Marcus edition cars really arrive that much sooner than the standard release date?

We go the Neiman Market LS600hL at our dealership in early August... so like a month... not a huge difference.

I beleive last year's Neiman Marcus offering was a special edition BMW M6 convertible.

Jackass.

then I guess it's fitting for Lexus.

The Neiman Marcus pairing with a Lexus makes more sense than a lot of other car brands when you think about it.

And last year also had a SAKS Mercedes-Benz S600. These things aren't Lexus-exclusive.

yeah neiman marcus had a m6 convertible last year and a maserati quattroporte the year before.

a is-f neiman marcus edition isn't a surprise

makes sense for an S600, not really for the M6.

and certainly not for the IS-F--which is lexus FIRST performance car that supposed to attract YOUNGER people.

and i guess the people buying performance cars out of the neiman marcus catalog are OK with not knowing much about the car's performance features. (you know...silly thing like actual hp, torque band, weight distribution, braking, etc)

oh, and, in case everyone suddenly forgot, the people who are going to buy these IS-F's from Neimans (like the people who bought the T-Birds and those special M6's)-- they are buying them for exclusivity and prestige, not because it's a faster car or sportier or whatever else. And, if history continues as it should, these cars will become collector items & worth a pretty penny in the short & long run both.

actually, if you had a truckload of money, actual specs start to become meaningless. the image is more important, hence a special neiman marcus version that is ultra exclusive.

Neiman Marcus edition LS600hL also came before the regular LS600hL.

LS600 like an S600 makes SENSE in the neiman's catalog. for a company that has older customers--and is trying to appear younger with the IS-F--it's dumb.

The new C looks amazing. The IS is hot, too, but sadly the only color the IS-F will look good in is black.

Black is the best choice so far, with white being second, and the blue...well it's the bottom of the bunch so far.

I concur, answer. I'd even rather have red than the blue- actually, the burnt red (NOT maroon) that Lexus uses for the IS-F is very attractive. It's not Brilliant red (S4/RS4) or BMW's similar Imola Red (M cars), and I don't think either of those much stronger hues would look good on the Lexus.

This microsite shot actually makes the IS-F attractive. I'm sure it will look stunning in black. Why must so many of these hi-po machines be so impressive? Can't there just be one? Why do I have to choose?
