Top 10 Most Famous TV Cars
From a gravity-defying Dodge Charger to a futuristic Ford Mustang, we take a look at the 10 most memorable cars to appear on the small screen.

K.I.T.T. is back in action.

One of the most memorable television stars from the 1980s, K.I.T.T. was a smart-talking Pontiac Trans Am driven by David Hasselhoff in the series Knight Rider. Now K.I.T.T. returns in a new television movie that premiered to such big ratings NBC executives are hinting a weekly series is likely again.

The original K.I.T.T., or Knight Industries Two Thousand, was remarkable for its sarcastic personality and array of high-tech features. In its four years as a reluctant crime-fighter on a hit show, it became an icon worthy enough to make our list of the top 10 most famous TV cars.

What, they left out the gold Firebird from the Rockford Files?
Ha ha!
I always enjoyed watching that dude tear around in his regular 'bird.

Autospies will not post the entire article because everytime you click on the link, they get paid by the website you were tranfered to for bringing new customers. That's part of how bloggers make money. Do you expect all this car info to be free?

Green Hornet was always my favorite. Don't forget Grandpa's Dragula from the Munsters. The Jeeps from Rat Patrol. What about Hutch's beat up LTD? Paul Drake's T-bird from Perry Mason. Monica Gellar's 911 that her father(Elliot Gould) gave her. Almost any bike and car that appeared in Fastlane. Too bad Bill Bellamy is not a believable badass.

If you factor in the world of cartoons:

Mystery Machine from Scooby Doo

Mach 5 from Speed Racer

etc.

Don't forget the transformers too. Optimus Prime and Bumblebee are very iconic.

There never was a TRUE Ferrari Dayton on Miami vice, it was a Corvette conversion... Proof.. Real Daytonas have a "A" pillar window vent, where Corvette do not

The WHITE Testarossa was a true Ferrari BUT when given to the show was BLACK and repainted to WHITE for better visibility.

No Elenor??

One of my favorite movie car-scenes is the Audi A8 in the Transporter 2 - beyond James Bond-ish stunts with this car makes the best commercial Audi will ever have. Watching the first 30 min or so of the movie is worth it just for this scene.

Magnum's Ferrari is my fav. That was such a great car and one of the best cars of its time. I would say it is the equivalent of the GT-R today.

If we are talking movies, the Family Truckster is another fine example.
