Who had any idea Forbes had an auto portal?

I would really like to see the 123d make it to the US.

I think he meant "will be sold in the us." But I am surprised that I don't see the BMW 123D mentioned in the article. BMW really needs to bring the 120D and 123D over to the US if they want to get a heads up on the competitions.

The 120d and 123d are not sold in the US. All the cars mentioned are currently sold in the US.

Bluetec needs LSD to work properly, which may not be availabe in Bahrain.

Why the Europeans continue to try and increase our oil dependence is beyond me. Oh wait, I know, it's because they're more profitable and to hell with everything else.

I hardly count the A3 or 1 series as luxurious, but losing money is the only way the Europeans will learn I guess.

"Increase our oil dependence"... YOu mean by developing hydrogen engines (which doesn't really offer the advantage people thought they would) and high efficiency low temperature fuel cells which are cheaper, lighter and more efficient?

BULL CRAP! Hybrids doesn't do sh*t to decrease your dependency either! The Prius might help a little, but I think I read somewhere that the saving that the decrease in consumption the Prius have given is less than 1/10 of the US' daily consumption PR YEAR! WOW...

Hybrids and diesels aren't about saving the environment at all... It is about saving a little cash since you do more miles pr gallon. If you honestly think that anyone who are developing hybrids are doing it for the environment, you really need to wake up!
