The car came out in march of 2002 isn't time for a remodel already?

Why would that lead to a delay? You think Toyota isn't smart enough to know that a new version would do even better?

Well maybe there's another explanation you'd like to fill us in on?

5 years is the Toyota standard, tho it used to be 4. 7 years between these Corollas is a little absurd, I dont care how well they are selling.

Toyota is holding the Corolla back for one reason (Honda Civic). It just looks better last I heard Corolla was supposed to release last year, but Toyota went back to the drawing board. As for lexus none of there models get redone in 4 years, use the previous LS and GS models for example they had the same body styles for like 7 years. So to you Lexus fans wait untill 2014 to continue the passionate pursuit for perfection

I don't think Toyota needs to worry about a Civic design that it is outselling with its older design. The Corolla had a record selling May so why would they need to worry about the Civic that has been on the market for over a year and can't compete, in sells, with the older generation Corolla? They don't. I happen to see some of the early design concepts for the next Corolla and what is out overseas resembles some of the concept drawings I saw. It's not the Civic they're worried about.

No, why would it? It's a Toyota Corolla, not a Lexus LF-A. And I only hate Toyota for one reason: people like you. They're a very dependable brand and they make some excellent products, but like BMW, it's the brand snobbery that turns me off, no matter how subtle.

What a lame and old excuse. nobody even cares enough about Audi to "hate" them. Hating any brand because of their fans is stupid. For example, I don't like BMW only because they make crappy, ugly products.
"People like me?" You don't like me (and Toyota/Lexus) for your own reasons, no need to explain yourself for no matter how you cover it up or choose to rationalize it, you're no better than anyone here.
