Toyota Aurion TRD 3.5 V6 Supercharged & Hilux TRD 4.0 V6 Supercharged
Toyota Australia is planning to unveil the Aurion TRD along with the Hilux TRD at the Melbourne International Motor Show on 2 March. Starting off with the Aurion TRD, this is the production version of the Aurion Sports Concept shown at the Australian International Motor Show in October 2006.Under the hood, the Aurion TRD hides a supercharged 3.5-litre V6 that drives the… front wheels. Personally I’d find that a good enough reason to go for a rear wheel-drive Ford Falcon or a Holden Commodore, but hey; that’s just me.
As for the Hilux TRD, according to Toyota, the top-spec Hilux will be equipped with a supercharged 4.0-litre V6.

That Aurion or what ever they call it looks like a VW wannabe to me.

If Toyota could bring that Camry to the states, it would add some flair to that line up.

I thought they called the Hilux the Hilux INvinsible ever since Top Gear smashed one.

Over here, in the U.A.E (or dubai as you people know it) we dont get the camry V6, but the aurion instead. We get the V4 camrys but the aurion the the V6 replacement. It has a 3.5l V6 engine which can produce 270hp (not sure, but close). So the aurion is basically a more powerful camry, they even have the same interior, but here the camry comes without a NAV, while the aurion has NAV.

Our Camry does have the 270hp 3.5L as an option. It's just not as good-looking as the Aurion.

The Aurion, which is Camry in the states has a much nicer front. I wish our Camry had that.

Man, I wish they bring the Aurion over here, the Aurion is so much more aggressive.

they should should make the aurion a little smaller, but with the same look and throw a fast 4 cyl in there and make it the new corolla in the states.

I wouldn't have been surprised if Toyota's luxury brand was called "Hilux" instead of "Lexus." It would be pronounced 'high-lux.'
