Toyota Denies GM Ever Requested Salvation From Them

US automaker General Motors Corp has not asked Toyota Motor Corp  for help in turning around its business Toyota said on Thursday denying a Kyodo news agency report.

Citing sources familiar with the matter, Japan's Kyodo reported overnight that cash-hungry GM had asked its rival for help and that it had explored the possibility of its chairman and chief executive, Rick Wagoner, meeting with Toyota's leadership in Japan soon. Toyota declined the overture, Kyodo said.

Again, nice choice of words. First you find that GM is the devil, now your saying they didnt look to Toyota for salvation. I would recommend keeping the religion stuff out of your articles...

Well I dont think GM is the devil. Did execs there make some VERY bad choiced? YES! But I wouldnt say their the devil. They are trying to improve their product lineup and have been somewhat sucessful at that.
