Honda Motor Co.

swept three of the six vehicle categories in J.D. Power and Associates' survey of initial vehicle quality in China, the world's third-largest car market.

The survey found that the largest improvement was reported for Chinese domestic brand vehicles, which account for about a fourth of new vehicle sales.

Their overall score improved by 12 problems per 100 vehicles, compared with a 1 problem-per-100 improvement by their international counterparts, J.D. Power Asia Pacific said in a statement.
