That was once the mindset at General Motors. And look at where they are now.

damnikco,

Are you kidding me? GM comes out saying, it wasn't as bad as they thought? They beat their expectations on how bad it was going to be for them, so you know what that means? They use this really stupid technicality even when they're ass backwards.. WOW! GM, here's a word of advice.. "Optimism" look it up.

I totally agree with Star. Japanese cars suck. I have a lot of knoledge in these matter since i am a top special engineer. the older the company is means that the company has a lot of heritage.

heritage is the most important thing. BMW and Mercedes are the oldest car makers in the world that exist. That is why they are the greatest. I bet BMW are the inventers of cars.

The japanese companies i think were founded in 1990s if i recall correctly.

Hey tard,
I can make stuff up to. BMW dealerships are having a 2 for 1 deal (lease 1, they'll give you one to keep) plus they'll pay your mortgage and ship you a Lexus.

Toyota can still rely on regular people to buy and finance Toyotas. BMW has nobody, their primary lease customers can't even carry the company.

I don't really expect someone like you with an obvious mental handicap to understand.

Everyone's bleeding, the big companies who don't rely on leasing will outlast the pretender companies. Most of Wall Street is going to be out of a job, where do you suppose all the BMW leases will come from then?

I notice BMW used car sales are strong though :)

"Huutard"...good one!

What a joke this "Huu" is. Toyota and Lexus are in their knees praying to make it out of the deep hole they are in and this clown worries about the almighty BMW.

$159 a month and 0 down gets you in a new Corolla....LOL and Lexus ...oh boy they are in s**t up to their eyebrows. Next month news...Toyota and Lexus file for bankruptcy....HAhahahahahahaha....

Did I say Toyota "and" Lexus?..Oh, my mistake. LOL....There is no "and"...is just ToyoLex..the winner of numerous awards like "Grandma's first choice", "Retiree car of the year", "70+ approved".
Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha......

Toyota will be ok, but Lexus is in for a sharp dose of reality. For years they thumbed their sales numbers at the Germans, now they're in the toilet and the toilet is being flushed. Its almost hilarious.

tard,
Provide proof please. Should be simple right? Again, anyone can make up stuff without links.

Here's an example from a real dealership, $369 for a 328i. That's even less than the $399 people make fun of.
http://www.bmwbayside.com/MiscPage_7
You'll notice they're still offering 0.9% on used cars, which explains why they're so popular among the poor posers crowd.

Check out Santa Monica BMW clearance, $399/36mos for a 328i with NAV with $2200 down.
http://www.smbmw.com/salesspecials/new.pdf

Then there was this LA dealership offering $499 or 0.9% for a 335i.
http://www.centurywestbmw.com/index.htm

This dealership doesn't even list specials, or their financing rates.
http://www.lexusofaustin.com/AboutSpecials

Lexus of Seattle, their cheapest deal is $399/48mos for IS250 w/ NAV and $3000 down. This is actually a lower tier car than BMW's 328i and its the same price for a longer period of time and larger downpayment.
http://www.lexusofseattle.com/MiscPage_4

Your turn.

Quantum,
See above and try to determine which company is desperate to move inventory and which one's profit per car is holding steady because they still make money on financing and not giving their cars away.

HuuTard,

You are losing it Huu...

BMW always has and always will have a higher resale value than a Lexus, I mean Toyota..

Go to KBB or Edmunds or for that matter any dealership.

You are really good at spinning lies and playing them off as facts..

Toyota now has ZERO percent financing and I'm sure Lexus will sweetheart any deal to move their bloated on lot inventories.. Just skim 10 grand off the sticker of any Lexus on the lot and I'm sure they will accept the offer..

LMAO..
