No - Audi manufactures its own chassis. On some models, sub-frame parts are indeed shared with VW, but not as much as you'd like to think.
Audi suspension calibration, interior, and trim are exclusive. The A3 and A4 are currently the only Audi models that share engines with VW -- and fantastic engines they are.
Somehow, i don't see any relation to sexual orientation and automotive preference. Slow news day?

I see you trying to make sense for once in your life, unfortunately you still don't. Studies have shown that when distinguishing between those that identify themselves as gay, and those that identify themselves as straight, homosexuals as a whole have higher IQ levels, and higher levels of education than heterosexuals as a whole.
Anyway, if you disagree with that method, then you also disagree with the study that Audi fans love to bring up showing the typical Audi buyer to also be smarter than buyers of other makes?

lol.
Clearly, owning an Audi made you no smarter than what you are now, but you're extending your depth of these types of studies out to an incomprehensible level. In no way does buying an Audi make you smarter. In no way does declaring you're gay make you smarter. It seems that everyone here can realize this EXCEPT you.
That study, and ones like it do not factor in whether or not the subject is classified the way they are because of choice or not. If it were, it'd be a whole new debate about whether or not homosexuals are gay because of choice or not. Most I've seen do not believe it to be a choice, and I take it these studies also do not use that factor either.
I think it's pretty safe to assume that these types of studies are not definitive; everyone behind the wheel of a Yaris is not gay, just as everyone behind the wheel of a German vehicle is not a complete jackass like yourself.
No, buying a Yaris does not make you gayer, and buying an Audi does not make you smarter, but let me reiterate: the rate of people with higher IQ levels, and higher levels of education is greater among those who identify themselves as gay than it is among those that identify themselves as straight.

wow. Please just give up now!
You're reading too much into this! Or not enough, apparently. They're not smarter because they chose it, they chose it because they are smarter is what these types of studies infer. They are not classified as "elite" because of their decision, these studies are trying to tell us that their decision was made based off of their already implemented, predetermined-by-factors-beyond-their-control "eliteness." By the way, use of the term "elite" was by you, nobody here said gay people were "elite" for the record.
I am pretty sure this wont make sense to you ever but I don't know how to explain it any better, forgive me.
Here's where your argument totally goes bust: "If you would say that the average person buying $50K cars is smarter than the average person buying $12K cars that will make sense."
How do you believe that this makes anymore sense than the subject at hand? And for that matter, please explain to us how buying a Mercedes E-Class makes you smarter than someone buying a Kia Rondo?

You can't really reverse that statistic. Although gays tend to be smarter, there is no proof that smarter people tend to be gay. Of course, a study could prove me wrong.

My, aren't you hateful?
To call homosexuality un-natural is only to show your immense ignorance of the natural world. Homosexual behaviors appear more often in nature than even some of the people who study these species want to admit. Such behaviors are prevalent in two particular subgroups: birds and mammals.
In some instances with birds homosexual encounters actually exceed heterosexual ones. There are also homosexual pairs in nature- the Black Swan for example- 25% of all Black Swans are raised by male homosexual parents. They mate with a female and once she has laid the egg- they then run her off, and raise the egg.
There is a paper by a man named Bruce Bagemihl titled "Biological Exuberance: Animal Homosexuality and Natural Diversity" in it he names approximatly 450 species in which homosexuality in known to occur.
Such behavior on your part is so hoi polloi sort of plebeian.

You call me a liberal yet I was the Vice President of the College Republicans at my school.
The biggest mistake that was ever made with the Republican Party was that Reagan in order to achieve votes courted the votes of those like you- those whose religion or bias dictates their lives. It was not always so, the Republican party once had principles true principles about the functioning of the government, but now we have an immense number people such as yourself that claim it as THEIR party. The Republican party was once a bastion of what which government had no right to know or to be involved in, it was the right of every man to dictate his own life and be free of the whim of other men- for that is what the Constitution essentially establishes- it frees men from other men from their hate and their whim.
Why do you think many of the religious nuts have started to jump ship? They have finally come to the understanding that all of we old Republicans have known- we use you for votes. That is your only use. Aside from that you are nothing but a bunch of commoners.
There was recently a book that came out by a man within the White House that said this exact thing, and that those within the White House including the president referred to the religious fanatics as “insane” and stupid. This was no news to many.

Yes, we're all liberal fags because we:
1) Like people and don't wish to hurt them
2) Don't want to kill the infidels
3) Don't call people whose views we disagree with liberal fags.
What a well constructed and completely "different" argument, designer.
Nobody's ever said "unnatural" before...or said "no, you're the gay one!", or believed that liberals have ruined the world...you're so original.
Are you one of those dinosaurs who still believes being gay is a choice?

I apologize for everyone that my comments got out of the subject in hand.
cdoke, I'm glad to see ex vise presidents to colleges or alike add their comments here, I really am. However, at the same time it hurts me to see that our vise presidents to colleges or a like have no clue what they're talking about. That my friend is very scary stuff, the big people of our country have no clue? How will they lead us then?
So tell me cdoke, where did you get the idea that I belong to ANY party or that I let my religious believes dictate my thoughts? From your comments it shows that you’re an atheist?
I don’t care about any politician from what party he/she is, as long as they lead us right. I don’t care about any religious person, from any religion denomination and belief, as long as they preach goodness.
I'm proud to be a Christian, not a good Christian but I try to be. ;-)
Now maybe you won’t like me being a Christian and that’s fine with me, but trust me it is not my religion that’s teaching me right from wrong but simply a good human mind, heart and soul that do. So, when I talk about gays and don’t want them here, that’s my personal knowledge knowing about this world and the nature of this world.
So, I would be delighted to go deeper into that if you come back to me and be a philosopher and start talking about what nature is and what’s not.
I called you a liberal because YOU told me you are. ? I didn’t accuse you of something that you didn’t tell me about. And you need to know my friend, if you were a vise president, and hopefully now, the president of a college doesn’t stop you nor anyone from not being a liberal, its not the profession that make us what we are, but our believes in life, and these believes don’t come to us from only one source, we build them from MANY things in life like school, work, religion, politics, nature, friendship, TV, magazines, countries we’ve visited, and you name it.
So, I know that my believes are right and when I say something about a group of people, those words I say are right, because I have an open mind that sees the true right from wrong, I don’t hide myself in the dark or avoid believing in things that might affect something in my life. Right and wrong is very clear and simple to see, it only takes a mind, heart and soul to see it then accept it.
So, my previous comments that were taken out WAS due to a liberal act, because they showed what was wrong with gays, and someone apparently didn’t like my comments of asking to leave this site for normal people, no gays nor the “I” and “M” words.
Well I hope you’ll get a chance to read this reply before it will get deleted again.

"I called you a liberal because YOU told me you are."
I am a classical liberal. The word "liberal" in common parlance anymore is the bastardized journalistic sense and it literally means nothing. A liberal in its classical sense is someone who holds private property, individual rights, trade and freedom from government and other men as absolutes. The Founders of the United States were classical liberals- it is truly an Enlightenment ideal. You hear most of the above from the mouths of the right in my opinion. To some degree both Democrats and Republicans are classical Liberals now.
Although, if you have read F. A. Hayek you will know that he explains why this is and expresses shock that the Republicans would cede such a historically significant term to something that for a long time represented its exact antithesis.

Oh don't forget that last bit there, I am not the ex vice president of a college. I am the ex Vice president of the College Republicans at my college- and hence not a liberal in the bastardized sense.
I don't care if you are a Christian, why would I? I grew up in one of those stuffy protestant families in which your religion is a very private matter. The ultimate measure, I was always taught was not their last name or how much money they had or any of that, but instead it was simply how they treated other people. My mother always told me it is this metric that will define someone as unworthy of you and nothing else.

Designer1, what annoys me is that "conservatives" assume that a "liberal" not only supports left-of-center domestic policies but is also gay, pro-choice, pro gun control, and highly supportive of left-wing foreign policy. What would you call a pro-choice heterosexual who believes in a right-of-center foreign policy, the right of citizens to bear arms but, at the same time, supports national health care, a flat tax rate, an end to illegal immigration, and a reasonable approach to protecting the environment?

Well that is a total deliberate misuse of publishing power by the autospies user who must have intentionally tried to belittle some of the brands that he/she has associated to the topic. I mean defend the car companies that you like, why bother defaming and talking rubbish about opposition. Seems like an article put up by a member who feels insecured of the rise of brands like Toyota and infiniti so much so that the member has misused his power to load articles to actually try to ridicule them.

Actually it is up to the maturity of the reader and their responses. While the title was provocative the the article in no way drew any conclusions.
The funny thing is, if you take the same article and compare it to top 10 "chick" cars, the responses are totally different? Why?
By another token when we post a press release on top 10 cars chosen by minorities and we see that some people again can't resist a temptation to show how narrow minded they truly are.
I edited out a lot of content that you didn't see because some people simply can't exercise good judgment. And a few users bit the dust because of it. Am I sorry? No. Their own actions were responsible for it.
Sure we can not post some things but do you really want to avoid a topic due to a few people that are too immature? Typically they show themselves for what they truly are.

There are some really absurd comments on this site. Like gays will destroy this country amongst them. For some reason people also dont think that gay people like cars and that they should be on this site. Well...
I AM GAY, and you wouldnt know it unless I told you.
I LOVE cars. What I do behind closed doors is my own business as it is only a miniscule part of who I am. People seem to forget that gay people are just like any other normal person with lives. I think partly that the only reason gays are hated on so much is because of the church (which is VERY ironic).
