They are trying to do to much to fast and now their quality is beginning to suffer. How many cars does this make for toyota recalls so far this year? This brings a smile to my face!

Maybe Toyota should spend the extra $1.50 and pay an adult to make the clips.

Key phrases:
"the original clamp"
"optional stainless-steel exhaust tip"`

Because of an oversized paperclip, they`re recalling all cars with this option whether they`re affected or not.

Toyota`s mistak for choosing a crappy supplier, this is almost as bad as the recall on floor mats that didn`t fit properly.

meaning, cracks NOT VISIBLE except under a microscope.

big deal. GM's "Iron Duke" engine came from the foundry with hairline cracks IN THE HEAD castings. some 40% of 'em for a while, but GM refused to halt production 'cuz the Fieros they were going into were selling so well. they figured they'd just have dealers fix 'em under warranty AS THEY FAILED. not like toyota, which does PRE-EMPTIVE recalls.

any wonder that GM is on the brink of bankruptcy, while toyota enjoys the HIGHEST reputation for quality and reliability?

It does'nt matter what is going on with Toyota or Lexus they will always be tha best of the best. That's right bring it on because GM is now owned by Obama and his clan. Who knows maybe Toyota will purchase the Corvette and CTS-V for a small profit. A Buick and a Jaguar better than a Toyota and Lexus ha ha ha I'll be laughing all year long. Stop making your selfs look stupid.

Why don't you just buy Ford and save yourself some money since that's all the S and X-Type are. of course, you were probably talking about the XJ and XF right?

'Dull' is the only argument Lexus haters have now, and the only reason they believe this is because Toyota isn't a German sounding name.

huu -- its not just dull. Its flacid handling.
Lexus has replaced Buick as the mark of an octagenarian.
Toyota builds appliances for people who don't like cars.
Enthusiasts aren't excited by above-average reliability from a below-average driving experience.
