Toyota Motor Sales (TMS), U.S.A., Inc., today reported best-ever September sales of 222,950 vehicles, an increase of 20.2 percent over September 2005. Calendar-year-to-date (CYTD) sales total 1,928,496 units, up 12 percent over the same period last year.

The Lexus Division reported best-ever September sales with 25,700 units sold, an increase of 12.1 percent.
