Toyota has a long way to go to be the largest automaker in the world, they are huge in america but gm owns most of the larger world markets with double digit cans in market share in india china south america unfair trade rules wont let us sale much in japan or korea. they say america is falling behind in education with the rest of the world i wonder why we buy forign cars and they buy ours?

the JPY has a very weak currency, making imported (any imported)cars expensive.

gm has the leading full-size pickups which are amazing. but in the rest of the world, theres not much demand for them. the mid-size pickup is dominated by toyota, because of its reputation of durability and reliability.
