This is not good....If Toyota goes down so does everybody else. Toyota is like the God Father of the Auto Industry.

Not everybody goes down. Just maybe buyers are looking at Honda's more exciting styling than Toyota's boring and old man looks.

It is vital in an econo-company to make something exciting so it attracts the masses out there. Toyota no longer has a small sports car whereas Honda has the Civic Si(here in Canada) and SiR in the US.

You mean not everybody likes Honda old man boring looks, because to my understanding It's Toyota Camry thats the #1 selling car in America for the last decade and it's Toyota Corolla thats the #1 selling car in the world for how don't know how many decades.....Toyota Vehicles outsells Honda 10 to None....It's not even a comparison.

I never doubted the Camry or the Corolla being great sellers but perhaps..just perhaps the buyers are looking at other eco rands as options.

Wow don't get so offended TOYOTA FANBOY. Christ

Not evry one goes down if Toyota goes down and no Toyota is not the car god, whats hurting them is there past quality issues this year catching up with them (camry engine problems Tundra engine problems)even consumer reports no longer gives them an automatic high mark in reliabilty any more, and the Honda Civic being on fire as far as sales this year.

well from what i know there are a lot more dumb people in this world than smart so maybe that is why toyota had the potential to be number one. hopefully now people are becoming smarter and realizing that toyota is not that great after all. toyota is just hype over nothing.

What hype might that be? Toyota builds relatively reliable, quality vehicles that gets one from point a to point b without any fuss. Isn't that what basic transportation is all about?

True but there are about 5 more automakers that do the same.

...that do the same, in style, better performance, and higher quality.

Toyota fanboys: stop your whining, you pansies! It's not the end of the world.
Toyota is still doing better than Detroit's "Big 3" right now, so why complain if someone has a comment that differs from your beliefs?
Hell, I doubt MichaelTaylor will have his panties in a bunch over this.

Big surprise. The economy is slow and Toyota refuses to give their cars away like BMW.

Not every company is so desperate they have to give away a free car with each maintenance contract.

huu76: You are such a poor freak my man, go and get a life, instead of bashing BMW. There is a world out there that can be fun, trust me. Don´t waste your life on the internet, trying to make one of the best carmarkers look bad.
