Toyota's president refuses 2009 Detroit Auto Show invite

Infiniti doesn't need a damn auto show. The next Q-Failure will be touring the entire dealership network on the back of a flatbed truck.

When it arrives at each lot, there will be a fantastic barbeque party, because Nissan is keeping it real!

In light of Toyota's recent financial news (i.e. losses), I am not surprised that they bow out of the '09 show.

LOL...That was indeed funny! I've actually never been to a car show, and if what you are saying is true I didn't realize that the UAW showed up at these things. I wouldn't be surprised, though.

Yep, look at'em. Just trimming away at the fat(excessive spending). Calculating their way right through the storm. Man I'm telling ya. Toyota has got a game plan they know things will get worse before it gets better. I'am sure they'll be keeping their eyes on Obama and the dems over the next 4 yrs. I believe Obama may suprise us and turn out to be a wise president. That's what I'm hoping and praying because he inherited one hell of a mess. It will be one sad day if our automakers go under. Greed and poor overall quality makes 2 strikes. We dont need that 3rd strike.
