That's why the gasoline price hike has forced them to open more truck plants.

That's why its the truck of the year and kicked everyone's butt, right?

FYI, please go visit the truck dealers and you'll find the Tundra costs less than the others and offers more.

2.6L 4 cylinder...! this engine must have huge balance shafts! I guess they will do anything to get mpgs, so they can sell these cars.

This whole "fullsize" truck thing is where Toyota got off track. They built great little pickups, made money, had happy customers. Them someone thought a big truck would work. Oops. You mean there's more to fullsize trucks then big?
Toyota should stick to cheap transportation, it's how they got to where they are...

Toyota shot themselves in the foot with the new Highlander. It's too big, it's ugly, and creeps well into 4 Runner territory. The Highlander used to be a HUGE seller, not a HUGE SUV. Now the Rav 4 takes it's place.

Toyota has been dropping the ball left and right. Like I said, offer a TRD package for each car sold make it like a performance division almost.

Is 4 cylinders enough power for the Highlander? Its not like its a lightweight anymore.

The old 4 banger for the base Highlander when it was little was fine, but I really think your talking slug-mobile to the point it cannot get out of its own way.

My 4 in the Matrix was unchanged from the stock 130hp to handle the AWD system weight, but it still can move along.
