Twin-Turbo BMW M5 with 815 horsepower
Just when you thought the BMW M5 couldn’t get any better than it already is, Currency Motors goes and adds a twin turbo charged engine giving the BMW M5 a huge boost with 815 horsepower. While it will cost you $350,000, Currency Motors adds a hand-built intercooler system, a full custom exhaust and two turbochargers, giving you the ability to reach top speeds of 240 mph.

The two turbo chargers are placed in the rear bumper while the SMG transmission was left untouched. Inside the Currency Motor BMW M5, the car gets aniline dyed Florida crocodile black leather. If you plan on buying this 815 horsepower beast, get your order in quick because Currency Motor only plans on making 10 of these at the moment.

OMG! This proves that this engine has alot of things to extract from. BMW got 507hp while its naturally aspirated, add a twin turbo and you have 815hp coming from hell! Awesome, but did they do anything to the suspension? Because I doubt the stock 1 will be able to handle all this power.

For $350,000 I will extract 2000hp from a 4-banger. That type of money BUYS you potential; it doesn't mean the engine has it. Let’s see this done in naturally aspirated form and I would graciously agree with you.

Dont forget its mainly expensive because its exclusive, only 10 will be made. This monster can beat almost every car on the road and it almost costs like an SLR.

He would hand our @ss to you on a silver platter even if he owned a stock M5.

I love the 335i, though. Beautiful, fast, luxurious and practical. I hope they make a 335xi coupe- I want one.

$350,000, dang thats way to much money, like 2 weeks ago i saw a 1995 toyota supra on ebay with 1355hp to the wheels and it was only for like $80,000. it was also street legal and did the 1/4 in like the 8 second range, i know that thing prabably doesn't have handeling though.

Yeaaaaaaaaaa but it's an old 95 Supra. If you seriously got 350K to dish out for an overhauled M5 then by all means. Afterall it's still the luxury car it was meant to be but with a lot more punch. Me personally for 350 it's Bentley/Rolls/Maybach territory or Porsche Turbo/Ferrari/Lambo/Aston whichever style you like. I guess for bragging rights this M5 will definitely be a winner for you.

You could get TWO loaded Porsche 911 Turbos for this money, with a $50K left over! I would get a 911 Turbo Cabriolet, a Turbo coupe, and a new X5 or Q7.

Mitsu got 405hp out of a 2.0 litre 4banger.

If you had $350,000, you'd buy a Ferrari.

HP is just a mathetical formula anyway, you can tweak any engine to get more hp. I don't know the exact formula, but you can alter hp numbers by making a smaller engine with higher rpm.

Both the above cars I'd bet would beat the turbochargers around the track, and probably out 0-60-100mph it as well.

Can't forget the Lamborghini's, Astons as well. But no doubt majority of the car buyers would go for the super cars rather than a highly tuned M5. It just doesn't seem logical to get this M5. I'm sure for far less money than that you could match the horsepower evenly. The only reason why their price is so high is probably cause of their labor. Plus the 'hand-built' intercooler system.

In conclusion, my final verdict is: Looks good, numbers are great, but not worth the money.

I'm sorry but i haven't seen a 95 Supra that is worth 80K either (with tons of mods or not). Well buddy of course you're going to support the Toyota brand you own a Soarer (nice car at that) but why would I fork out $80K for a 95' used car. So what if it's got loads of performance. Me personally, i don't care about the horsepower as I will NEVER use it for the street. It wouldn't be practical for MY lifestyle. So in that case $80,000 for a Supra isn't worth it. Maybe for someone like you sure, but not me. There's no point of me showing you a 95' BMW that's worth $80K because we both know the answer to that one. As for the "Bangel Crap" well i'm sure some of us here can agree to that, not all of his designs are great, that's for sure. 5 series, controversial...very..

Thats a bit much for a BMW M5. Just go for a beautiful silver M5 hartge with slight modifications on the engine, lowered suspension etc.. THAT would be an amazing car..

LeMansFan, 2JZSoarer...

The Supra is a legendary car. The badge doesn't make the car- the car should make the badge. It is hallowed as the best Toyota of all time, and though it doesn't sound like much to you, you've probably never driven one (or even seen one).

However, I don't think it's necessary to flame him like a moron, either.

I must admit that the "bus pass" thing is good. Creative, and it's a new one. Perhaps I'll adopt it for use with AmazingBimmer.

But is it faster and will it out handle a Ferrari? I'm thinking the Evo VIII FQ400 will outrun this overpriced bucket of Bangle crap easily.

The Saleen S7 TT has 750hp and will match the Veyron.
