In a recent interview made by Autovisie Magazine, Michael Dick, Audi’s member of the board of management for technical development, said that the German manufacturer may build the new RS3.

Listening to him we found out that, technically speaking, the new Audi RS3 is ready because it will use the 2.5-liter turbo engine found on the brand new TT RS which was recently unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show. For those who don’t know the engine is capable to produce an impressive 340 hp and 450 Nm of torque, pushing the vehicle to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.6 seconds (same time achieved by the Audi R8) while the top speed achieved is 288 km/h.
