V10 powered M3??
If you watch the video about the BMW M facilities (third video under "M Story", about 8 seconds in there is a white, E90 M3 with a V10 of the M5 and M6. Is this a sign of a hardcore M3 in the horizon? Read Article

This motor in question is not a twin turbo, its not a v10 or a v12 nor is it a turbine. Its simply a M3 with its beautiful standard V8. Maybe if you look close enough you can see aliens.

If it is indeed a V10 then it's just a Shoehorn job. They do this all the time. No big deal and it doesn't have anything to do with actual production plans.

Yes I've seen that Schnizter one.

However, there's no need for a V10 M3. Does that mean the M5 and M6 should go V12? Not practical and not suited for a car of this grade. V8 is more than enough. Even for the most hardcore of drivers.

They are correct. This is just an M3 Coupe spot. But they are also right about the S85 V-10 conversion into a 3 Series or M3.

Hamann Motorsport specializes in this. And when they are backed up, they send it to a new company named Bremgo. They are so good at it you actually cannot tell it is not from the factory! They also liberate a few more ponies under the hood to 550-hp.
