It was reported last month that Honda was planning a V8 option for the new-generation Acura RL within 18 months but according to AutoObserver, plans may be delayed.

In a recent interview, Honda president Takeo Fukui admitted that the 3.7 V6, currently the range-topping option for the RL, wasn’t sufficient enough to compete with other premium brands.

Thats such a long ways away, it is even possabile that they would want to do an entire redeisign before putting in a v8 and i hope it is rear wheel drive.
