Last night, if you missed it, we showed you exactly what Lexus and Will.i.am are bringing to the 2014 Paris Motor Show. If you've seen his previous automotive designs, then you probably weren't too surprised with his latest work.

While we're pretty confident that Lexus would never slap that body kit on one of their vehicles and put it in one of its showrooms, what it is achieving is a lot of publicity for its all-new NX. In addition, it is more than likely hitting its core demographic of youthful, in-market consumers.

Since the Will.i.am edition won't see the light of day outside of the Paris Motor Show, Lexus was sure to get it's money worth by shooting not one, but two commercials featuring the Black Eyed Peas musician.

Take a look at them below and let us know:

Are these advertisements AWESOME or AWFUL?

Lexus Europe are partnering with global entrepreneur, innovator and musician, will.i.am to champion provocative design and technology, as part of its Striking Angles campaign to launch the new Lexus NX. Dreamin' About the Future, featuring Brazilian musician, Sérgio Mendes, first debuted as part of will.i.am’s Pyramidi installation at the Barbican’s Digital Revolution exhibition in London.

As part of the Striking Angles collaboration, will.i.am is set to design his own limited edition take on the NX, a sharply-styled premium mid-size SUV. He will also star in the the latest Lexus television commercial, set to be released later this year.

The Lexus NX and will.i.am are the stars of Striking Angles, a TV advert for the new luxury crossover.

Using rich visuals and a soundtrack featuring an exclusive remix of will.i.am’s Dreamin’ About the Future, the ad transports viewers into an imagined modern world of angular design.

It depicts the NX travelling through a futuristic cityscape, giving hints of the car’s progressive design as it passes beneath stylised road signs and through multi-faceted tunnels. As the journey unfolds, will.i.am appears on angled TV screens in a shop window before emerging in person from a facet-fronted club, stopping his tracks to admire the passing Lexus.
