If you're a car enthusiast, it's an amazing day when you take delivery of a car like the BMW M3 or Nissan GT-R. And when you step up to the likes of a Ferrari Enzo or Bugatti Veyron, it's like you've just taken the stairway to heaven.

BUT, for the ultimate enthusiasts with substantial bank accounts, there's nothing much better than acquiring an actual race car that has pedigree and a story.

There's some folks in the States that have acquired Formula One cars and other racers, but they tend to keep them housed in climate controlled garages. And that's what separates those types of collectors from what you're about to see.

Three collectors based in the Far East have acquired actual Le Mans racecars. That in itself is amazing. If that wasn't enough though, these guys actually put them on the street and use them.

You may think these cars should be put in a garage or museum for safe keeping, but that is not the case here. Some of them still spend their lives racing around the circuit while others can be found hunting the streets for speed.
