M3 with a 4 cylinder engine...LOL I'm not sure if the guy got caught, but I'm pretty sure the car did not break down. The fact that they fabricated the last part of the video tells us they are hiding the truth. He most likely got away. It would have been wiser to say that he ran out of gas. What a bunch of idiots.— Ben55 (View Profile)

True, at the end they show the same piece when, he went across the median. I guess he was very "inexperienced" it looks to me like he had pretty good control of the car. While police chases are fun to watch. The actual chasing by the police increases the likely hood of injury.— chewy (View Profile)

My bad. I assumed it was an E36 from Henry's post (inline 6 comment). Looking at the video again it's clear this is an E30 with the 4 cylinder, which makes this video even more impressive. — Ben55 (View Profile)

The fact of the matter is that cops, will risk everybodys lives, to catch somebody speeding, people in power, always have to be kept in check, look at Bush, spying without a warrant, even though it specifically says in the constitution NO! Cops believe it is their right to intimidate and the law is always right!! — bigj91 (View Profile)

I refrain from commenting on your president (there are other channels available).. I however am baffled about the manpower, number of wrecked units and -indeed- dangerous situations the US cops are willing to throw in, just for catching a car thief... only to have a totally wrecked -stolen- car at the end of the chase (and dozens of scared to death people whose lifes have been endangered by this boyish police behaviour). Are you Americans still in the "posse" stage of development ? Saddle them up, cowboys !!!— Marcdegroof (View Profile)

My only comment is you should all look at the video and listen. The police car is a CAMARO LT1 not a Caprice. You can hear the car shift through the gears, as in manual shift.Caprices don' have a manual shift, also the announcer evern says it is a Camaro police car!! So it is pretty funny that you are all pontificating about something none of you paid enough attention to . Fact is any car, can outrun any car, at any time depending on the experience of the drivers , road conditions or area.— MartyMoose (View Profile)
