As the competition is getting fierce in the $100,000 luxury sports car class, we're eagerly awaiting Mercedes-Benz's answer, the AMG GT. Although we've seen quite a bit of spy footage and pics, we're awaiting more.

Now that Mercedes-Benz has set up its microsite for the AMG GT, it seems to be slowly revealing more and more information about the all-new sports car. Obviously, one of the key ingredients into the all-new AMG will be its 4.0-liter V8 bi-turbo that will put out over 500 horsepower.
It's a big deal that Mercedes is abandoning its more traditional motors. We're expecting this one to be a bit lighter and more fuel efficient as that's where the rest of the market is heading. If you check out this little clip promoting the all-new V8, perhaps you will agree.
