I like the Q7 a lot, but I hardly ever see any on the road.

Anyone know how they're selling?

I do see alot of them on the road here in Toronto, probably as many as A4's.

I've never actually sat in one but seeing it in this video, and how the interior looks, I thinks it's a great car.

I see a lot of them in Greenwich. Its quite a common SUV here. It helps that we have one of the busiest Audi dealership in the world here in Greenwich, CT, USA.

I've seen quite a few in Canada and it's just what we need here in Alberta for winter driving. Audi is still ripping off Canadians on the list price however (in spite of recent insignificant price reductions accompanied by gratuitous marketing hype). The C$ was well over par today so I expect Audi to do the right thing and start selling their cars in Canada in U.S.$ at U.S. MSRP.

Other than that, I can attest to the fact that Audi's Quattro with the Torsen center differential is virtually unstoppable in the winter.

I rarely see them on the road, but there are times we have 4-5 or more in for service a day, usually just maintainence, not anything mjor.

I see a ton of them in the city, more than in the suburbs.

I hate Toronto and would never live there. Too much traffic, too much crime, too much pollution, and too many diseased people crammed into mass transport during rush hour.

Overweight? I suppose Japanese SUV's are feather light then, huh?

nozferatu does not appreciate the superiority of German mechanical engineering. I wonder what he drives (if is is allowed to drive yet, that is).

why is it that you have a vendetta against audi? I don't want to argue, I was just wondering what happened that makes you hate it so much. Please give a valid reason too.

amazinBimmer, wait until we get the 500 hp Q7 V12 TDI -- it will leave all your Bimmers in the dust.

Actually, the Q7 is selling very well here and around the world. A major hit for Audi with conquests buyers from your precious BMW too.

He had an Audi 5000 in the '80s, apparently, which was a POS.

Of course, that's absolutely what Audis of the twenty-first century are like, as you can imagine.

Back in the '70s & '80s & '90s, Audis and Volkswagens had a reputation for poor reliability. However, things began to improve significantly in the 21st century. Consumer Reports can now recommend the Audi A4 because its reliability record is above average. My current car, a 2006 Audi A8L, has proven to be more reliable than the BMWs and Mercedes that I have owned in the past.

For the canadian who thinks the auto industry will start selling cars at US MSRP... I will hold on to your optimism, but it ain't going to happen..

Our dollar was 60% the us$ over three years ago.. for the past year and a half we have been on par if not within percentages of being on par.. STILL.. Today we are at $1.02 per US $1..

There are major court cases being launched against this... When you can get a car for 15-20 thousand less in the states and the only reason is the exchange rate.. wake up.. our dollar is worth more, why do we still pay the exchange rate?

Until this lawsuit gets settled, no canadian should be buying a new car.. YOu guys should hear the incentives from EVERY dealership out there... WIth Acura you get navigation package for free...

With Audi their stupid advertising campaign says.. "$5,000 off of every audi, that's enough money to buy a trip to Milan (they have a few versions with a different European city inserted into the commercial) So in short.. Buy an Audi get a trip to Milan, well not really but the math works out!!"

What a crock of Sh!t... our dollar is on par with the US.. yet our cars are prices at 135% the cost the US pays.. Until this is adjusted, ie the court ruling, no canadian should be buying anything but a used car..

Rant over... sorry..

Sorry to hear that, man. I presumed that as the dollar declined in value, the exchange rate would work in your (Canada's) favor. Apparently not.

Good luck with the lawsuit.

i did own a 5000s and it was so bad.. I was embarrassed ot drive it.

now i hate audi for being a poseur brand. It is a cheaper architecture modified to be awd as a "luxury pr safety" feature when in reality it is nothing more than a modified fwd. i mean the thought a fwd a8 is ludicrous yet audi thinks its logical and offers it in europe. the next thing i hate is that people who buy these fwd cheaper cars and think they are equivalent or even close to the rwd gems from benz and bmw..
