Bad hair, good music and acid wash. A lot of acid wash!

The 1980s were certainly an interesting period of time around the globe. And in the world of autos, it's safe to say that some of the vehicles being sent to the market were less than stellar. But for every "meh" product there was a great one.

A specific vehicle that comes to mind is the 1980s Lamborghini Countach. While I prefer the more subdued Countach from the 1970s, the LP400, the one that caught every young boy's eyes was the one from the 1980s with its outrageous styling package.

In a recent clip a well-known collector recently snapped up Mario Andretti's personal vehicle and sent it to be completely overhauled and brought back to its original state.

Though there's no doubting the Lamborghini V12s monstrous sound, we're a bit curious of what YOU would do: If YOU could restore any car from the 1980s, what would it be?

Taking a drive in my 1987 Lamborghini Countach Quattrovalvole . This car was specially made for Mario Andretti. After sitting in a private collection for over 20 years I was able to purchase it, and send it to George Evans at Evans Automotive for a major restoration.
