You've seen the pictures and we reported it's biggest news item yet: Oprah is giving away a ton to her audience members.
The 2012 Volkswagen Beetle is definitely making its share of headlines and getting attention, but 00R isn't sure if it's anything to get genuinely psyched up about unless you're a bug fiend. As far as he can tell, it's a Beetle that's had its roofline chopped and most likely has a revamped interior.
Hopefully VW intends on varying up the powerplant options to make this a more competitive offering in the market. Imagine a hybrid bug that could get a Prius-like 50 MPG? That might actually be pretty cool.
