The Alfa Romeo 4C is probably one of the coolest cars to come out this year.
Of course, being in the US, we're waiting on a typical, Alfa Romeo delay. Like always we're told "wait until next year."
But since the car has been getting into the hands of folks abroad, a bunch of clips of the car have been making their way around that glorious place called YouTube. And, after hearing it a bunch of times, I am not sure what to make of the exhaust.
It sounds pretty much identical to the Fiat 500 Abarth, at least to my ears. That's not a bad thing, it's just an interesting thing because the Abarth's note sounds great for a four-cylinder motor because it's a bit brute-ish and rough with a lot of variety. Though, some would say that it can be a bit agricultural.
That said, I am leaving it in YOUR hands, Spies?
What's your thoughts on the Alfa Romeo 4C's exhaust note?
I have filmed a sweet looking Alfa Romeo 4C during a trackday event held by Top Gear Magazine Italy. Video shows the Alfa starting up and revving the tiny 1.75L turbo engine, as well as doing a couple of accelerations and fly bys on track.
