In one of the buff books latest irrelevant stunts to remain in the spotlight, since they don't have an imagination, it conducts a downright brutal test of the all-new 2014 Porsche 911 Turbo S.

Of its clutches and gearbox, that is.

To prove the point that the 911 Turbo S is "unbreakable," essentially they proceed to launch the car 50 times, only to correct themselves later that it was actually 61 and they were sloppy at their job. Well, that's something to be proud of.

Anyhow, I am not going to waste anymore of my time on this. Onto the video, ladies and gents...

On a SoCal runway used by General Patton to train soldiers for WWII, we line up the Turbo for the first of 50 back-to-back launches. Porsche's PR man called this test "abusive." We think it's a fitting tribute to the 911's 50th anniversary. The Turbo, however, does not do 50 launches. It does 61, because we get woozy from acceleration and lose count.
