When BMW North America's former chief executive said something along the lines of the next-gen -- now current -- BMW 6-Series being one of the best looking BMW products in sometime, I didn't exactly believe him. And then the car debuted. I wasn't bowled over, let's just put it that way.But my, my, my how this car shapes up when it is in four-door coupe form. While I would have liked it to be a bit more coupe-like, it is good to have rear seats that actually serve a purpose, unlike the Acura ZDX that make even passengers around the 5'10 mark uncomfortable.BMW M6 Gran Coupe Photo GalleryNow we're confronted with the M6 Gran Coupe, which is the 6'er on some serious steroids. Given the styling treatments and the interior, I have to wonder if the M5's days are over.Enough of my meandering. Let's get on to the videos.Below there are three clips: One that highlights the product and two covering the exterior and interior design.Enjoy!BMW M6 Gran Coupe Photo Gallery

So the more I see the Gran Coupe, I can't help but see it as the next iteration of the 5-series and i'm having trouble seeing what the advantage of an M5 is. At least with the CLS and E-Class they look different enough and feel like they're targeting two different groups.Don't get me wrong, I love the Gran Coupe, but I just am having trouble seeing the differentiating in who they are targeting.— jeffy210 (View Profile)

The 5 costs less, about as fast (give or take a millisecond, is more practical, more usable, more space........— Stewie (View Profile)

Ride height, passenger room, comfort, interior layout, etc. is the difference. I would choose the M5 for those reasons alone. — Dr550 (View Profile)
