There are just some things that you have to see to believe. The all-new Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 is one of them.

While its upgraded looks are one thing that are seriously enticing — I don't know about you, boys and girls, but I love the high wing — there's a little something spicy going on here. And, yes, it's related to the supercharged V8 powerplant that churns out about 750 horsepower.

A bonus clip of the ZR1 undergoing testing shows us just what it's capable of. In an unlisted YouTube video, the ZR1 is going on a wide-open throttle run and it belches flames for an incredibly long 10 second stint.

I am used to seeing flames on an upshift or downshift but to see it going full on for around 10 seconds. That's literally insane.

As it was an R&D car we have no clue if this is the stock vehicle with a production exhaust or if it was straight piped for testing purposes. That said, expect some very interesting modded ZR1s to be lurking around. And we'd advise you to not get to close to its hind quarters.
