I have a love affair with sound. I'll be the first to admit it.
If a car doesn't sound good, then what's the point?
To me, the sportscar experience is really comprised of three elements: the driving dynamics, what you feel in the seat and, of course, the sounds you hear. Without that last bit, the whole thing can be a wash.
I am clearly not alone as folks spend gobs of money to get the right power outputs and tones via intakes, exhaust systems, etc.
To my glee, a videographer — or group of videographers — capturing the supercar scene in Europe threw together a ton of its footage and compiled a 20-minute clip exclusively of supercar sounds.
