The Bugatti Veyron is such a beast it destroys all of the other supercars in the test, it pounds them silly. (very capable cars by themselves)

The Bugatti Veyron beat those because it has so much more horse power advantage over the other supercar. If you put 1001 hp on all of those super the result would be much different for sure. But I agree the Veyron is beast for sure.

Well. Yes the Veyron does have 1001+ horsepower. but, if you put a 1,000 horsepower in a Lotus Elise it would be just as quick. But no, you have to have a car that can handly the power, have the supreme aerodynamics, and have the engine that makes that much power. They Veyron has that, no other production car in the world has that. It shows in the numbers.

If my Acura TSX had 1001 hp it would dominate this test as well. Or if a BMW M5 had 1001 hp it would dominate as well, or if a Honda Civic had 1001 hp it would dominate. Point is, Bugatti (VW) actually did develope an incredible, once-in-a-lifetime, work of art with 1001 hp that, in reality, kicks the living s@#t out of any vehicle in this test. And I believe is still faster and more exotic than the CCX.

The Bugatti Veyron does not handle well. It is not a nimble car, very unreliable and it consumes a ton of fuel (I haven't driven it just read about it from european magazines). Its best to call the car a GT rather than a car designed for the tracks. Contrary to popular opinion the Z06 is one hell of a car. For the price you get reliability (except for the flying roof whoopsie) and track domination. But my favorite is the 997 Turbo (I know I'm biased) otherwise regarded as the everyday supercar. It takes a lot of engineering prowess to design a car that drives like an accord yet races like uh... well like a Porsche.

Id'like you to post the source on those facts because i haven't found an article yet where they say it doesn't handle well and is unreliable.

From what i'v read in EVO magazine the Veyron outhandles the Ferrari Enzo and Porsche Carrera GT on the mountain roads.

If this was the handling test i am almost positive Bugatti would have won. I heard it handles brilliantly (at normal speeds of course, u cant expect much at 400), i also remember Clarkson mentioning it handles like a lotus... ur statement about reliability is wrong, but fuel is right. Ur also wrong about corvette's reliability, i almost had a chance to drive it but it didnt wanna start so we sent it back.

My favorite is the 911 turbo too, i think it is better to drive than 98% of all sports... in one word brilliant, i love it

This is a dumb test.I enjoyed watching it but none of the cars that could almost compete with the veyron arent there. Where is the Enzo, Koenigsegg CCR(i know the spelling is probably wrong cant bother to check) and Pagani Zonda. Come on now Corvette, Viper, porshe and the Auston Martin dosen't stand a chance.

I would also like to see the CCX and the Zonda F, but the Enzo is an incredible track car. It has so much downforce engineered into it that it actually suffers in an all out high speed test. I've seen 215 mph for the enzo, well below the Veyron and probably not as fast as the LP640.

Either Motortrend or CD is doing a full on test of the Veyron coming out in their January issue.

Remember once stating that the Veyron could give the maclaren F1 a 100mph Head Start and still beat it to 200Mph and a couple of clowns tried to argue with me.

Check out the 0-300km/h times of the Bugatti and compare them to all the other vehicles Mentioned then find the 0-300km/h times of the MaclarenF1 Factory Vehicles (Not Racetrack Honed Models) and tell me if I was wrong.

Especially in the Rain(Seems this Track was Damp) (Veyron 4wd vs F1 Rwd)
