I don't know why they bother racing other cars against the Veyron. We all know what will win. The M3 is a great car, but definitely not anything you want to race against a Veyron.

Yeah, they raced an R8 against the Veyron and it makes either of these cars look like they're standing still when the pedal is to the floor. It's just incredible.

Love the new M3. I don't think any M3 drivers will be seeing Veyrons at stoplights (-:

If there was any hope in the mind of the driver of the M3...even w/ a head start...that he had a chance of winning that race he should turn over his keys back to the dealership! I'm pretty sure this was done for the thrill of it rather than an all out competition.

That may be so, but it makes the M3 look like a tinny piece of junk. It has power, but when you race it against something that is as incredible as the Veyron, you just don't see how good of a car it really is.

is350, I think the point of this vehicle is not to put down the M3, but to show the magnificence of the Veyron. It will show ANY car up, not just the BMW.

Lexus is so behind on technology. 8-speed "sport tranny"? BMW is devloping their on dual-clut transmission which will put the slow tranny in shame.
