VW reveals new North Sails concept
Volkswagen has released its own maritime-inspired vehicle based on its Touareg SUV and called the North Sails Concept.

The new design study comes only months after Audi launched the similarly-themed Q7 Coastline Concept, but unlike the Audi, the new Touareg North Sails was built in partnership with leading sail manufacturer North Sails.

I have often wondered why manufacturers come up with these things never to put them on the market. Very luxurious and very expensive. I had almost forgot about how much I actually like the Q7 nautical theme.

I stopped by the VW dealer over the weekend and saw a Tiguan there. It was REALLY nice! Very impressive. It had awesome color combinations for the interior. It had a full glass panaramic roof as a really nice option, and if offered things normally only offered on a car twice its price. I was def impressed by that. Now if it had more power or was turbo charged, it might actually get a second look by me. Kinda feminine though.

"0to60 IQ",

the Tiguan IS turbocharged. You Japanese fanbois are absolutely clueless when it comes to cars.

Star, you are the biggest idiot on this site. Sorry I didnt take the time to look at the specs however I do think I recall the dealer saying that. I just saw 200 hp and didnt bother to look at the remainder of the specs. I knew it wouldnt work for me. Im to power hungry. But back to my point. Its a nice ride.
And star, you Japanese bashers should do the world a favor and drop dead. Thanks!

0-60 on that car is 7.8 seconds yet it has 200 hp. The vehicle isnt that big. Thats pretty bad. I doubt its turbo charged considering that.

You'll be banned soon enough though.
I'm done dealing with your immaturity.
You're probably not even 18 years old and have no friends.

Only looks like a Tiguan because of the scale of the 20+ inch wheels.
Just like a New Beetle or New Mini look small till you put them near the "Old" model, and they're huge, but the 16" wheels with chubby tires make them look small.

This looks like a car that a Tuner/Customizer could build and sell through Robb Report magazines for big $$$, but not something that would command enough volume for VW to warrant tooling up for.
