Video: Amazing stunt driving - Little Red Fury

Okay we just came across this video on YouTube and have no idea where this took place or what cars are in the video. Just watch it; it’s totally amazing. Let us know if you know what cars are in the video.

This is from Universal Studios. The red car actually has a motorcycle engine! It also has special gearing to allow it to drive at such high speeds in reverse.

yep universal studios show. You can see it ne day you go there, they run like 3 shows a day or something. It's even better to see in person.

I thought this show was from Disneyland Paris.

They are heavily modified, little econoboxes, i forget which kind exactly. (perhaps Peugeot 106? This show originated in the French Disneyland, as I recall).

Amongst the mods:

1. The engine and transaxle located in the back seat, powering the rear wheels instead of the front.

2. Special gearboxes installed that allow shifting into reverse at any time without messing anything up.

3. I believe that they use two separate red cars, one set up like the black ones, and one set up with the driver facing the wrong way, for the last bit with the backwards jump and the driving around after it. You can see that that car is "front wheel drive", unlike the others. Actually it is the same RWD as the others, but the driver/steering wheel/controls face backwards.

There is some more video someplace that goes through the details. Great drivers, very professional, very accurate.
