While Europeans won’t get the Nissan GT-R until next year, European car magazines are getting their GT-Rs to test drive, beat up and race against Godzilla’s German rivals.

Last week we brought you CAR’s test of the GT-R against the Porsche 911 Turbo. This week AutoCar takes it a step further by pinning Godzilla up against the best 911 in production yet, the 911 GT3.

And given the close price range, Chris Harris, who now has a beard, also brings along his new BMW M3.

As a refresher:

Nissan GT-R: 3.8L twin-turbocharged DOHC V6 producing 473hp. 0-60 in 3.5 seconds with a top speed of 193mph.

Porsche 911 GT3: 3.6L 6-cylinder producing 415hp. 0-60 in 4.1 seconds with a top speed of 193mph.

2008 BMW M3: 4.0L V8 producing 414hp. 0-60 in 4.8 seconds with a top speed of 155mph.
