I hooked up my accelerator to my brake lights. I hit the gas, people behind me stop, and I'm gone.

Video: BMW 135i vs Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution MR
Yes, it’s quite an odd match-up here. However if you look closely at the specs and pricing, both coupes, the BMW 135i and the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution MR, offer 300-hp in the mid $30,000 range.

Refresher:

2008 BMW 135i: 3.0 liter inline 6-cylinder engine that produces 300 horsepower and a peak torque of 300 lb-ft.
2008 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution MR: 2.0 liter 4-cylinder 16-valve DOHC MIVEC engine that produces 295 horsepower and 300 ft-lbs. of torque.

Me too, at first I wasn't considering the Auto, even though where I live (Washington, DC area) that is what i need, if the auto rips off 0-60 in 4.7 secs, I just might consider it.

only if 1 series was atleast decent looking. The car is too ugly especially the rear which looks like 80s kia's(to be more exact i have seen a similar looking tailights on an old Hyundai Elantra).

performance is very good though, but i'll take the Evo anyday. Way better looking, four doors and equal performance.

JUGNU:
"equal performance"
better motor trend track times despite more weight and less horsepower but with advantage of twin clutch - with bmw will later has , and mostly AWD with AYC - torque vectoring - bmw will also this later has ( now has in X6 ) :

evo x -152,92sec
new M3 -154,2sec
135i -156,34sec
c63 AMG -158sec
is-f - 158,6sec

^^^One wouldn't look right taking a woman out to dinner in the city in a Evo, the One, yes... But, I forgot you're in the Middle East...

The Evo has "wannabe racer" written all over it..and that grille ain't the best looking, especially with the gray exterior.

The One has "gotta be" written all over it.

It's funny how the same people don't like the 135i's looks, but like the E46 M3 and the E46 look, because this has similar styling with the large greenhouse and hunkered down looks.

And your right the 135i's rear light design is very similar to a late model Elantra...the only thing I don't like on the One.

actually with the 1, it'll look like you're driving her car :) so technically, it'll look like you don't even own a car...

me neither, if you guys say the car is ugly, why would a woman drive it? Women usually like cute cars...Make up your damn minds.

The 135i looks awesome in that blue. I just saw a black 135i Convertible on the parkway the other day and man did that thing fly.
