It's funny because the there was no final verdict on the car because the video cut out. All he did was mention the technology packed into the car but what was his view on how it compared against the S, 7, and A8? No word at all. I don't doubt him giving thumbs up for the LS it is a good car. It just lacks the European flavor of luxury that the Europeans look for. Technology wise it is packed but it doesn't have that European feeling that I always like. For those who haven't read my postings I own the LS and S550 so I can speak for both ends.

Another thing we commonly forget is the XJ line from Jaguar. I think they are amongst the world's most prestige looking vehicles(The one in Casino Royale) but then reliability is always the issue however the luxury is there.

Jaguar consistently tops quality and reliability surveys.

Yeah Jag do well.
The XJ won the Top Gear survey a few times.

Sounds like the LS460 is more annoying than cool.
*Waiting for a Lexus Fanatic to scream at me.*

123456: Despite the fact that I vehemently disagree with several posters here, I do not feel the need to 'point fingers' at others.

Herein lies the bigger difference between you and me.

Beat it punk. Go back to your mommy.

The review is too short.

I thought Europeans only need to ride in a park-bench on 4 wheels to enjoy the "soul". Why Lexus gives them so many modern high tech. features? What a waste. Some of them are not even in US LS, damn.

What features are in Europe that aren't in the US?

We (as in the German fans) know that self-park works-- but that doesn't mean it's useful. It's no faster than parking yourself... it's just for lazier people.

I persnally tried the self park in my friend's LS and it was a little annoying. He "couldnt get it to work" but "it had been so easy at the dealer" we spent about 30 seconds adjusting the green and red lines on the screen until we got them perfect. The best part was when I let go of the wheel (still needed to brake mind you) and you just watch it quickly turn. The car ended up reverse parking (not parallel, this was a regular parking space) ontop of the line and not as far in as it should leaving the car out (he does have the LS460L) still it parks much better than a lot of people. Overall it was fun

Truly amazing technology. Everyone has to give that to Lexus. I just hope the software is more reliable than Microsoft's.
