I hooked up my accelerator to my brake lights. I hit the gas, people behind me stop, and I'm gone.

Check out this comparison from Edmunds’ InsideLine as the pin up the top-of-the-line XF to the BMW 550i, Mercedes-Benz E550 and the Audi A6 4.2.

A quote from the conclusion:
"[The Jaguar] can do everything the German sedans do, without being so serious."
WTF does that even mean? Makes no sense.

What also doesn't make sense is 4.2L on the 550i...It has a 4.8L.

As a Brit it pains me to say this but this is not a Brit vs German shootout.
Jaguar is owned by Tata Motors. They are an Indian conglomerate.

I own both a BMW and an Audi. If I have to recommend one, its BMW all the way. But I saw R8 on a bright day, the daylight LED headlight looks very very cool. If they bring those light (as bright as R8) to A4,A5 & A6 its going to leave competition in dust..nice job Audi

The Jag is way better than the rest, awesome machine.
As for those Audi lights, they make you look like you have forgotten to switch them off(Saab/Volvo style)! Aston Martin Vantage has superior side light design...
