Driving through the streets of Iraq in itself can be a harrowing experience.

Now imagine you are there driving in a US Army Humvee? Watch what the driver of this Humvee has to do to maintain speed and keep from stopping in traffic. Stopping on these street might mean you are target practice for any waiting insurgents.

A lot of it probably comes out of necessity. Observe the breaking distance and acceleration of this vehicle. It is very amusing to see how the driver bumps all cars and even buses in front to make them pull over and let him go. Nevertheless I agree this is not making us any friends.

Driving the US Army Humvee is fun, but it's the guy that is in charge of the weapon system that has the real fun shooting at the macaca's.
