UGH! The back is hideous! It looks like an old Ford Escort from behind or something!

What is wrong with them? Soon, Audi will be the bigger company!

Looks like everything BUT a volkswagen. Just like Subaru, right now VW doesn't know what it wants to be, or how it should look

Walter de'Silva (VW's new head designer, former Audi designer) just said exactly what you said! He's going to change the cars to give them a new identity, and a new image for VW.

I think it looks fine and the Volvo V50 is the only competiton. And the Jetta SportWagen offers more space than the V50. Cars and car companies change designs, otherwise all cars would still look like the Model T. Bricks.

Who cares what it looks like, it is a commuter car. With the diesels efficiency and the interior space there is nothing in this cars leauage, especially if you want something good on gas and need a wagon for your dog. I would perfer a civic but it doesn't come in a wagon.
